Emerald Island is built around a wooded area with a walking/jogging/biking trail. Shuttle services are available to the attractions. There is a large clubhouse with a heated community pool and spa, sauna, fitness centre, clubroom, video games room and computer room with Internet access. Facilities also include an outdoor play area for children, tennis courts and a Tikki Hut. Our house is located two minutes away from Formosa Gardens Plaza which has a large supermarket and several shops and restaurants. For sports enthusiasts, there are several highly regarded golf courses within a very short drive. In addition to Disney World, attractions such as Sea World, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are easily accessed via the I-4 junction just minutes away from the house. Kennedy Space Centre, Cocoa Beach and Busch Gardens are only about an hour's drive away.

Beware of false advertisement: Some dishonest owners would often tell you their property has the best amenities of the world, but at the last moment all those special features would suddenly become unavailable. Some won't even mention it until you found out yourself when you arrive. After all, what can you do when you have already paid them and checked in to find out the pictures don't match or the amenities are not available. They would just come up with a list of excuses to make sure they keep their money while you have your terrible vacation.
Security: Many owners are still using the old, and dangerous, key in a lock box method. This is when owner install a lock box outside the front door, where they would store the actual key for the property. The lock box is accessible with a 4 to 5 digit pass code, but most owner would change the code only once in a few months. With the old method, there are so many ways for strangers or even criminals to enter the property without your authorization. The last thing you would want is to enjoy a day in the park while all your belongings are being stolen. With our digital electronic lock system designed for vacation homes, only you will have access to the property during your stay. All codes from previous guest will expire once they check out. No unauthorized copies of the keys can be made so no one will have access except for you! Also you will no longer have to worry about losing the key, and you can even set your own temporary password during your stay!
Price War: While every one is always shopping for the best possible deals, when it comes to entertainment, cheap does not always equal to good. When you pay $50 for a steak, you have certain expectations. But what if the restaurant is only charging you $10 for the meal? How would you expect your food to turn out? Business is business, in order to charge you less, owners will have to spend less. Spend less on furnitures, less on service, less on security, less on making sure you have the best vacation experience!

Our "trip" actually started months' before, with an extremely smooth and organized rental process. We really appreciated all the tips provided beforehand.
The home itself looks exactly like the pictures, super clean, extremely high-end finishes and the 7-bedroom layout was perfect for our group of 4 couples and 3 kids. The downstairs TV with game station, allowed the kids to play downstairs while the adults could chat upstairs. The hot tub was a big hit! You feel like you are staying in a 5-star lodge - all by yourself.
The customer-service didn't end the moment we walked in the door - when we arrived, we couldn't connect via the wireless, so one quick call and we collectively figured out the power was off due to a tripped GFI outlet.
In closing, I would definitely recommend this rental to friends, family and everyone else. You wont' be disappointed!

Once we opened the door and came inside the house, it got even better. The house is immaculate and very functional. The instructions were readily available and very clear. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.
Our stay was only a few minutes drive from restaurants and shops and a few miles from Disney. The location was perfect.
I will definitely rent this place again.

We definitely "had all the comforts of home". The flat was bigger than I expected so there was plenty of room for the 8 of us to spread out. The teenagers could watch a movie or be on the computers while my husband and I read in the front room. We wanted to spend lots of time in Disney so the location was perfect. We felt totally comfortable in the neighborhood and it was nice having Walmart right down the street. All our arrangements went smoothly, Clement and his property manager were so easy to work with and really cared that we had a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this rental!! Thanks so much! |

My family visited from out of state. They couldn't believe what a great deal they got compared to a hotel. Information about the place was very thorough down to pictures of the tv, dvd, wii,ect. I would highly recommend this rental. |

The interior of the unit was very nicely furnished with a number of nice pictures on the walls. The furniture was all very comfortable and in nice condition.
We found lot’s of great restaurants near the community. We'll definitely be back in the future, and for anyone looking, I would highly recommend this unit.
And by the way, we had a couple of things we needed taken care of, and after a quick phone call, someone was up within the hour to help us. Our hats are off to them.
